What is it?
The Social Justice Army is an organization of people who commit to
serving their local communities one hour a month. With chapters of
the Army spread across the globe, members make it their mission to
affect positive change within the communities they live in. From serving
at local homeless shelters, food banks, community events, etc. to
educating communities of the issues that are effecting change; the
Army has become a social movement.
Who are we?
The Social Justice Army was birthed from the fans of the modern-Americana
band, Fort Pastor. What started out as a loyal fan-base has become
a service-based organization of people working towards the betterment
of the world we live in.
How to Join?
Fort Pastor recruits members at every live concert they perform. Concert
goers can sign up at the concert to receive more information about
the Army and begin to form a local chapter. You can also receive additional
information by emailing info@socialjusticearmy.org.
What is Social Justice?
Social justice reflects the way in which human rights are manifested
in the everyday lives of people at every level of society. The Social
Justice Army is working towards the realization of a world where all
members of a society, regardless of background, have basic human rights
and an equal opportunity to access the benefits of their society.
